Andrew Harrell is a filmmaker, writer, and editor based in Raleigh, NC.
He is developing the feature film script Greensville, an eco-thriller, which was selected for the 2022 Cine Qua Non Script Revision Lab (co-written with Patrick Nichols).
Their short film Inoculation premiered at the 2020 Riverrun International Film Festival, and was supported by the United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County and the North Carolina Arts Council. Website io9 wrote, “Filled with eerily prophetic themes, short film Inoculation updates the eco-horror genre with a realistic yet dread-filled story.”
Andrew helped produce the short film Palm Sunday, a film about race and religion that was filmed on location in the Raleigh, NC church where the story that inspired it took place. It began its ongoing festival run with awards at the Columbia University Film Festival and the Longleaf Film Festival in 2023.
He also works for a statewide child hunger campaign, and as a facilitator for an eco-distress nonprofit.
