I am co-writer (with Patrick Nichols) of the in-development feature film Greensville, an eco-thriller about resisting climate despair. Greensville was a semi-finalist for the 2023 Writing Climate Pitchfest and was selected for the 2022 Cine Qua Non Script Revision Lab.
Our short film Inoculation premiered at the 2020 Riverrun International Film Festival, and was supported by the United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County and the North Carolina Arts Council. Website io9 wrote: “Filled with eerily prophetic themes, short film Inoculation updates the eco-horror genre with a realistic yet dread-filled story.”
I served as a producer for the short film Palm Sunday, a film about race and religion that was filmed on location in the Raleigh, NC, church where the story that inspired it took place. It won the Short Film Grand Jury Prize at the Calgary International Film Festival, after beginning its ongoing festival run with awards at the Columbia University Film Festival and the Longleaf Film Festival in 2023.
As an editor, I have worked on projects including K-5 educational television and public health PSAs.
